Get to Know the Team
In 2002, Pastor Todd accepted the position of The Mount’s student pastor, and the Gastons moved to Stafford. The Mount called Pastor Todd to be our Lead Pastor in 2005. He received his bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and his master’s in religious education from Southwestern Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. Todd can be seen at a nearby sporting event, taking on an iron man challenge or traveling with his family. He and his wife, Pam, adventure through life with their nephew Eli, and three daughters, Hannah, Sydney, and Lexie.
Minister to Families
A native Virginian, Susan loved growing up in her hometown of Charlottesville. (Wahoowa!) She began her ministry at Mount Ararat in 2006 leading our Kid Ministry to create engaging and exciting groups and environments for kids to know Jesus. After graduating from Carson Newman College, Susan attended seminary at Southeastern Seminary. Susan, her husband Ed, and three children, Joshua, Ruth and Dibora bring fun and laughter wherever they go.
Brian received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alaska-Fairbanks and graduate degrees from Biola University and Trinity College of the Bible and Seminary. In 2006, after a career in the hotel industry, he entered full time ministry. Brian and his wife Therisa have many talents including acting and art. They are blessed with three children Cheyenne, Lorarlei and Rogan.
Creative Arts Pastor
When Andy isn’t leading our Worship and Communications teams, he’s playing one of seven instruments he masters or getting in his workout. After graduating from Tennessee Technological University, Andy attended Trinity College of the Bible Theological Seminary. Since arriving as our Worship Pastor in 2009, Pastor Andy has brought passion and excellence to the worship environment. Andy and his wife Kristen, truly enjoy life with their two sons, Jordan and Caden, and daughter, Mia.
The Mount is led by a group of elected Elders. Our Elders serve the church as guardrails in the areas of teaching, leading and protecting. They are nominated based on the characteristics found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:5-9. Get in touch with an Elder below.
